Discord is a free voice and text chat app for gamers that works on both your desktop and phone. Discord also has a rich set of features for server moderators. One such feature is the ability to set a “wpm” (words per minute) limit for users in a Discord channel. This can be useful for keeping chat clean and organized, or for preventing spam. To set a wpm limit, simply type “/wpm” followed by the desired limit in the Discord channel you want to moderate. For example, “/wpm 30” would set the limit to 30 words per minute. Discord will then automatically enforce this limit for all users in the channel. Note that setting a wpm limit is a moderator-only feature, so you’ll need to have Discord moderator permissions in order to use it.
